*Panjiayuan Flea Market

Panjiayuan is the largest flea market in the country, selling all kinds of goods and curios from crafts and collectables to porcelains, woodcrafts and furnitures. There are over 3000 stalls here run by people from all 24 provinces in the country, there are even several minority people selling their ethnic goods here. Other than food, there is indeed a wide variety of goods to be found here.

*Baoguosi Culture Market

Baoguosi Culture Market is located at Baoguosi West Alley in Xicheng (West City), originally the "Serving the Country Temple (Patriotic Temple)", it is now a cultural market selling mainly books, stamps and old money. At the end of the Ming Dynasty and beginning of the Qing Dynasty, Baoguosi had already been the best-known book market in Beijing, having being established even earlier by several years than the Beijing Glass Factory Book Market. This used to be the place roamed by the men of literature at that time, leaving behind several legends and stories. In Year 18 of the Kangxi Era (1679), large portions of the Baoguosi building had collapsed from the Jingshi Earthquake. In Year 19 of the Qianlong Era (1754), the building was reconstructed and named "Da Baoguo Ciren Temple (Great Patriotic Mercy Temple)"

*Beijing Glass Factory (Liulichang)

The Beijing Glass Factory is located outside the Heping Men (Peace Gate) in Beijing, it is one of the most famous cultural street of Beijing. Since the Qing Dynasty, many scholars attending the imperial examination would gather around here, as a result, there are now many stores selling books, brushes, ink and paper, developing a rich cultural atmosphere. There are many shops selling antiques, calligraphy and paintings.

*Hongqiao (Red Bridge) Market

Hongqiao (Red Bridge) Market is the largest market in the world for pearl retail, the pearls of Hongqiao are very well-known worldwide. The market is located at No. 9 Tiantan Road, Dongcheng (East City)District in Beijing, it is an 8-story old-styled building less than 200 meters from the East Gate of Tiantan Park (Temple of Heaven)
